Description

theHarvester is an OSINT tool for gathering email addresses, subdomains, hosts, employee names, open ports, and banners from public sources. It queries search engines, PGP servers, Shodan, DNS databases, and other data sources to build an external footprint of a target organization.

Use Cases

• Gather email addresses and subdomains for a target domain
• Enumerate employee names from LinkedIn and public sources
• Map external infrastructure during reconnaissance phase
